This wild and wonderful wedding for 200 guests was held at a remote farm venue in Derbyshire with virtually no infrastructure for hosting a large scale event such as this one. As well as all the usual elements, White Door Events were also responsible for the more unusual logistics including over 400 helium filled balloons, 22 luxury bell tents for the guests and over 150m of festoon lights.
White Door Events worked with uber creative wedding dress designer Kate Halfpenny and her husband-to-be James Lee Duffy to bring their vision to life in this difficult setting, taking care of all the styling and production elements on behalf of the couple. A plethora of London suppliers travelled up for the event including The Detox Kitchen who provided the healthy yet delicious food and Villa Dolce took care of producing the cake*, sweets and styling the sweet table. Local suppliers Darby and Joan provided the gorgeous china for the event whilst Ryan Moon, a very talented local pianist, played for a non-stop three hours and had all 200 guests singing Bohemiam Rhapsody en mass just before dessert. The result was a unique, vibrant and truly fun wedding day.
Thanks to Elegant and Wild for the stunning photography of this very special wedding. www.elegantandwild.co.uk
